Every frame of the Harry Potter movies, condensed into a barcode. Interesting to see the choice of color palettes for each film!
This is beautiful.

Gertrude Hermes, The Warrior’s Tomb, Woodcut, 1941
The inscription reads ‘And all that remained to be seen were bubbles rising and oil spreading overthe surface of the sea’. The inscription was based on reports in The Times about the bombing of a submarine by Coastal Command on 16 January 1940.

Over the weekend I bought a coffee maker. The guy who tried to sell it to me kept trying to point out all it’s futuristic capabilities. He explained to me that you can program the coffee maker to start brewing in the morning before you wake up. When I asked him “Is that useful for someone that never has a reason to get up?” he just stared at me. I bought it anyway.
I could talk your ear off about how impressed I am with Matthew Woodson’s illustration, or you could follow him and get a direct feed + occasional commentary.
